You have pushed the limits of who is considered an Icon, LMAO. You need to get out more man. I thought you were gonna say Jack Nicholson or somebody like that

No, you're just confusing "iconic" with "famous". When something/someone is iconic it means that you associate that thing or person with a certain place, event, etc. Ex: the Hollywood sign, St. Louis arch, Seattle space needle, etc. Angelyne's billboards have adorned Sunset Boulevard and elsewhere around L.A. for over 30 years so she has become somewhat of an icon, though she's only known as being "famous for being famous". Movie stars on the other hand are surely famous, but when you see one you don't immediately think of a particular place. I've appraised the homes of dozens of movie & rock stars, but I wouldn't consider any of them to be "iconic".

You're welcome.

She looks like an 80s Japanese cartoon character.
I had no idea who she was either, had to look her up.
Thanks for sharing.

PS. If I had seen that pink Vette, I'd not think it belonged to someone like Macho Man.

About 41 seconds in, Angelyne. She's made her way into popular culture. Anyone who has ever watched old re-runs of "Moonlighting" will have her image seared into their subconscious. I've never met her, but bless her and her pink Corvette! She's a part of LA and always will be.

She is the perfect symbol of LA. She used to come into my bar in Malibu with her "entourage". She was very nice but she did sort of scare the midwestern tourists.
