I like how whoever cleaned out the house left the shampoo in the shower (you know, in case anyone wanted to wash their hair in that spa-like bathroom).

I was reading some of my newsletters, and just finished reading about this home that's on the market.

I couldn't believe my eyes! Half a million bucks for this?

Being skeptical about this, I did a bit of a search and found this home on another site.

By crikey! I don't care what sort of a neighbourhood this house is in; it's horrible. Half a million bucks?!

I wouldn't pay four hundred bucks for that house. It's an environmental disaster.

To quote the late, great Bette Davis..."What a dump!"
I think you're paying for the land.

The property is crap.

The whole place looks as if it's infested with spiders and smells of cat pee.

Maybe it's an art project

It would look great as a set for the upcoming SAW 12 or whatever number they are on now.

They sold it for $375,000 but they had it listed at 475k

They bought it for $26,000 back in 1972

Which would of been today's equivalent of $147,000 .
Not really a great flip ... considering it took about 44 years.
But, I'm sure the sellers lived there for a very long time and got a lot of use out of it.
Or maybe they had it as a rental for many years collecting good monthly income.

I bought a small house in Tujunga in 88 for 100,00 and sold it in 2012 for 240,000, it was rented the whole time, many different tenants, and was a complete mess when sold.
