Looking for a nice romantic restaurant for Valentine's Day, preferably American or French, with options for seafood. Not looking for something crazy expensive. Anywhere between $20-$30 per plate would be fine.

Would prefer restaurants in the San Fernando Valley since I there but don't mind traveling too far.

Thank you.

I'll throw an odd one out there: CF Food Kitchen in Granada Hills. Wonderful chef, menu, and service, all in your price range. Generic strip mall location that they dress up pretty well. Then you can go for fun cocktails down the street at the Safari Room.

Cook for your significant other and make a nice candle lit scene at your place.

Cafe Bizou in Sherman Oaks is a potential option.

However, I find that most restaurants gouge customers by doing a Valentine's Day specific price fixe menu.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! This was actually part of my list. I'm tempted to go here because of the large selection but its 3 and a half stars...I'm skeptical of going because of the reviews of good food but bad service...

Buca is nice, romantic atmosphere and good prices but it's Italian.

It's definitely a solid choice, and service is good! But I have to believe Valentine's day will probably be the WORST day to try it for the first time.
