Shortage of police is the bigger part of the problem, IMO. Person knows they're not gonna get caught, cause it takes the cops an hour to show up.

The people who do the hitting and running are from all races and walks of life. You can't blame everything on illegal aliens.

I'm sure many are. They certainly don't put license plates on their car which makes it much easier to get away with hit and run. Not to mention many own body shops so it's easy to get damage repaires without police ever finding out

I think it's ridiculous that people can even drive without plates. DMV needs to step up their game. Especially in CA/L.A where this is a huge issue.

There should be some kind of ID on the car ,even if it's a temporary print out.

People are funny. They don't want check points. They want to think they can disarm the public by passing strict firearm laws. They complain about stop and frisk or profiling. We now don't enforce Federal laws in sanctuary cities.

None of it works. We can't have it both ways.
