I think you are referring to the Burbank Airport station west of the airport served by the Antelope Valley line. I think it is very close to opening. The much older Burbank Airport station to the south along the Ventura County Line is served by both Metrolink and Amtrak trains and is closer to the terminal with a new covered walk-way from that station to the terminal. Supe Antonovich wanted to make Burbank Airport more accessable to his consituants, hence the MTA (of which he is a board member) funded new Metrolink station. I suppose it seems a good idea. I forgot how people are supposed to get to the terminals. We shall have to see if ANYBODY uses the new station.

Thanks I am referring to Antelope Valley line. I work close to it and am moving to Santa Clarita so I may be one of those few that will use it

I fly out of Burbank every Christmas and am a cheapskate. So I have tried to find out how to use a Metrolink park and ride a short distance to the Burbank station so I don't have to pay the $50 or more for airport parking. It's just impossible unless your on Amtrack.
