Hi all,

Will be visiting LA next month for the 1st time. We are staying near LAX near the green line. Have tickets to Dodgers weeknight game and wanted to see USC, Downtown, Hollywood areas before the game. Here is what I was thinking: -get 1 day metro pass
take green line to harbor fwy, transfer to silver line to USC, do USC, take silver/expo line downtown, do downtown, take red line to hollywood, do hollywood, take red line to Union Station, take Dodger Express to game, Dodger game, take Dodger express to Harbor Fwy post-game and then green line back to hotel.

I know that's a lot of public transit but it seems easier than driving around, finding parking, etc. Does that seem like the best way to y'all? Also is that route safe? I have taken public transit in many other cities so I am familiar with "typical" public transit related situations. My only really concern I think is transferring at Harbor Fwy at night.

Thanks for your time!

Take the fly away bus from LAX to union station.

Do stuff around downtown. Take Uber to dodger game.

Skip Hollywood. It's out of the way but, more importantly, Hollywood blows. Seriously.

The *most efficient route would be a helicopter.

Really?

First off it is USC home of the Trojans. The area is full of history. Then their is Exposition Park. Lots of museums including a little science museum that happens to house a little aircraft that used to make trips to space and back.

Visit USC

We like seeing colleges and famous stadiums and the Coliseum seems easier to access than the Rose Bowl. Also I imagine the olympic stuff/Expo Park is cool.

Maybe I should say the most efficient, feasible route :P

And I would skip Hollywood but my friends want to go there so.

Can somebody answer my question please haha.

Major props to the OP for doing their research. Have fun. I would recommend taking the FlyAway from LAX as well...will save you some time and it's a nicer ride.
