They are high tech. The physics hasn't changed, but the engineering around it has advanced. We've had rockets for centuries, but I'd still consider the Falcon 9 to be high tech.

You obviously don't live in Los Angeles if you're looking at $70,000 townhouses. Or if buying a Tesla means you then can't afford to buy a home then you're clearly not actually in the market for a Model S or Model X.

$70,000 barely gets you a downpayment on a townhouse in L.A...unless you are going FHA.
