The extension from Culver city to Santa Monica is scheduled to open on May 20th.

Does anyone know how long the trip should be from stepping on the train in Culver City, to stepping off in downtown Santa Monica? Will the trains run 24 hours? What is the most cost effective way to ride if you only plan on using these trains on weekends? What are some of your thoughts in general about this?

I'm moving to LA soon so i don't have experience with the existing trains, but it looks like this extension is going to be a great route and i plan on using it a lot unless there is some major downside that I'm not aware of.

The trains will NOT run 24 hours. The ride from Downtown LA to Santa Monica is supposed to take 46 minutes. My wild, somewhat educated guess is the trip from Culver City to S.M. will be about 20 minutes.
