And it has paid off as I feel the suggestions given here are helpful.

Networking is huge! Part of my desire to go to USC is from speaking with an acquaintance that was bragging about how helpful his USC alumni has been to his business. Knowledge and Networking are my two biggest goals.

I do realize I will be running this business most likely until the day I die (I know of a Engineer in his 80s I worked with that died working at his drawing board), so I want to do the most I can to develop it to its optimum, and I realize I do not quite have the business tools/knowledge right now to do that.
Thanks again NYDude.
If knowledge and networking are your goals, it's definitely in your best interest to go to USC for this masters. You should contact the business school, and then visit them and speak to them about the process. So if you live to be in your 80s that's over 40 years of WORK to look forward to in your future.

I agree with you, and so do most reputable MBA programs. The better MBA programs stress group projects and face-to-face interactions for just this reason.

I can sense how excited you are about this idea and it's clear you've given it a lot of thought, so I say, go for it!

Good luck!

(P.S. you need a long term exit plan for your business! No one should work until they drop from exhaustion.)
