I subscribe to my local Patch and every day there is breaking news about a robbery, gun pulled, a shooting, break in, murder, etc etc. Maybe I've never noticed it much before but the area was a lot safer four years ago and that was before all the major gentrification changes. I see the LAPD flying over head every day out here. I'm just curious if anyone knows what's been going on lately.

There has been gentrification in the north valley? Are we talking about the San Fernando Valley?

That's in the southern end of the Valley. In any case, the only gentrification in NoHo has been along Lankershim Blvd and its immediate surroundings. Most of NoHo is still garbage.

I think there has been a general uptick in crime since our Governor decided to let the criminals out of jail.
