You're 16, you don't jack about the world and the fact you support trump is the epitome of this.

Brihh it's either Trump or Crooked Hilary. Trump is a smart businessman and he'll bring the US dollar back to a justifiable value.

I don't know why anyone thinks Trump is going to magically fix all the illegal immigration in this country. His company even employs them.

At the same time since 2010 more Mexicans have left the country than have entered. The overall ****ty job market, plus the hardship of moving into legal status by themselves are reducing the illegal immigrant population here. No point in coming if there aren't enough JOBS.

Subway or McDonalds will give just about anyone a chance. Try them.

The OP has a point. Here in the Denver metro area teenagers work jobs like cashier's, baristas, fast food workers, etc. I find it really sad and pathetic how older people in bigger metro areas hold all of these jobs. It kind of makes me want to vomit seeing all those older people working those minimum wage jobs in those bigger cities. I routinely travel for work and notice older workers doing menial service jobs in cities like Atlanta or the LA area and it makes me throw up.

When I was a teenager I was a lifeguard, that was my first job. After that, I worked at a grocery store, and a car wash...and I was lucky to get the grocery store job, grocery stores are especially filled with older losers. At age 23 I had my first engineering job. I'm now 37 and own 2 businesses. I'd shoot myself in the head before I ever took a service job.

Well some are happy and fine to work in the service industry . I don't think it is right to look down on someone if they are older and work in the service industry . Also there are a big variety of service industry jobs as well . Is a waiter making $70k or more at a fancy restaraunt a loser?
Some people really enjoy that type of work and not everyone wants to be an engineer or business owner . Also a lot of people work in the service industry and have spouses that have a higher paying job or might even be business owners too .
The thing I don't like is when people have these jobs but complaining that they should be making more . With the $15 min wage being enacted in many cities and in CA and NYC in the near future it's going to be harder and more competitive to get these jobs and it will make it harder for teenagers to get these jobs . Most places will probably take the person with experience , unless you have some kind of connection or the owner is a family friend etc.

I've also read in articles that many places are going to expect more of their minimum wage workers if they are paying $15. I know right now many people with a college degree even in LA would be happy to get a steady $15 hr job.
Many many people are working for on demand type companies and paying their own expenses and not making much .
