----Graphic t-shirts you don't really see guys or girls in graphic t-shirts in LA like in other cities in the US.

----You don't really see people into counter-culture in LA like Gothic, Emo, punk, gutter punk, rock

----Hardly anyone in LA wears a leather jacket or jean jacket.

----Capris jeans or Capris pants you don't see this in LA.

----People like dark colors over light colors. Hardly anyone in LA wears light colors these days.

It is funny because the older style light blue jeans is making come back in New York and other cities in the US but never hit LA.

I still see many people in Capris jeans and Capris pants in other US cities but not in LA.

What? Do you go outside?

Translated: When I watch real housewives of the OC I don't see goth/emo/punk people. LA mustn't have goth/emo/punk people.

Counter-culture like punk, gutter punk, rock is not that big today like it was in 70's, 80's and 90's in most US cities. Most cities only have small pocket area where small number of punk, gutter punk, rock are at.

Hispter and Yeppy are very common today in US cities than Counter-culture like punk, gutter punk, rock.

Los Angeles is not Seattle the heart of punk, gutter punk and rock.

There still people that listen to rock music and go to rock bands but it not big like it was before.

You not going find 10% or 15% of LA population into Counter-culture.

There may be small pocket neighborhood in LA where you find Counter-culture like punk, gutter punk, rock in LA.

But it not like 1 in 5 or 1 in 7 that alone 1 in 10 people you see on streets in LA are Counter-culture people at mall, fast food place, restaurant or store and so on.

And nothing like Seattle numbers of very large Counter-culture like punk, gutter punk, rock.

It was popular in LA in 90's than despaired.

It is making a come back in New York and other US cities.

Fashion always hit New York first than hit LA later. Like the skinny jeans it hit New York first than LA later.
