LA Times is also biased by simply not publishing stories that are negative to Clinton or positive to Trump or negative to Democrats or positive to Republicans. The Times seems to be absolutely in love with homosexuals so the same thing there, anything negative, not published, anything positive is on the front page.

LA Slimes will have a front page story saying many Republicans fear Trump will destroy the party... etc, that may be true, some Republicans think that, but is that really front page news? Is that a fact? Sure it's a fact, but just because some elite DC Republicans don't like him, doesn't seem so relevant.

Meanwhile they won't discuss Trump bringing in disaffected voters who usually don't vote, in fact, widening the Republican party. That actually is more interesting.

Latest polls show Trump catching up or tying with Hillary, even in key battlegrounds. Their own poll shows Trump ahead. But Trump will have to be 5 points haead for the Slimes to even consider him even.
Legitimate, ethical journalism is allowed to feature whatever it prefers, as long as it is fair and truthful and balanced in the coverage of the specific event / issue. What several of us here have been pointing out is: the LA Times is ethically honest and truthful.

It is also being pointed out that the reason Trump gets so much coverage - and mostly negative coverage - is because that reflects his antics. He never stops mugging for the cameras and front pages. Constantly. Shamelessly. Ridiculously.

Hillary doesn't do that. She is measured and controlled and cautious - to a fault. One reason so many find her cold and distant and contrived (which she obviously is).

That all said, give us an example of something significant that Hillary has done that has been buried with no more than "a brief paragraph in the back" pages. I'm calling that hyperbole. She gets pretty beat up by the press really - and hates them for it. She has vilified the press as her enemy for her entire career. There are articles after articles on just that topic.

Trump going to the front pages every time he puts his foot in his mouth (or up somebody else's arse)? What do you expect? Of course the media covers him like a blanket. They're in the sensationalism business. And he feeds them daily. On purpose.

Wait! Of course the Times loves homosexuals! Don't you love homosexuals? Doesn't everybody love homosexuals, Vega? They're fashionable, funny, and they know how to party like it's 1999! Vibrant bunch! What's not to love? Get on board V-8! You'll be much happier!

So it appears the LA Times is giving Trump a fair break on the facts.
It's funny that their own poll shows Trump ahead but they never discuss their own poll in the articles.

Just today front page: "Trump might turn Red state Georgia into a blue state" because he's a "racist, sexist, with inflammatory rhetoric that will turn out black voters against him" (yeah... like Hillary is going to turn out more blacks than OBama).

OK... doubt it. How about an article like Trump is suddenly polling competitively in deep blue Wisconsin, or is way ahead in Iowa which was safely for Obama twice? An article about how Trump really appeals to white working class voters who weren't fans of McCain and Romney. You won't see that though.

Again. If holding a bias against Trump they simply stop their poll or fix it so it comes up like the others. They don't. Tend to indicate they do not bias facts against Trump.

Again. Why don't they ever discuss their poll in their articles? Why is there no front page article stating "On Labor Day weekend, Trump leads Hillary by 3 points... other polls show a similar trend"

INstead it's... Trump is so nasty, racist, and toxic he's going to make the Republicans lose Georgia!

Now with Trump, their bias is so extreme, they're no better than Pravda. 2016 will be the year the mainstream media - which was my preferred source even with their bias - loses its credibility.

The Times still has some good articles. Yes it's bias, but maybe not as much as you think. They actually have a fairly objective polling data for elections. If you want a more neutral paper or right leaning paper, check out the Orange County Register.

The OC Register is not really right leaning anymore. It went BK and agreed to have the LA Times buy them, but they were, at least to my knowledge, unable to do so.
