Never heard of it.

I'm glad to meet another anti-Cali fan KG. Cali is the world capital of cocaine, located in Colombia in South America.

If somebody can't pronounce California they shouldn't move here. Move to Cali and stay high.

That's the school, not the city.

"SaMo" sounds like a disease.

I've never heard of it being called "SaMo" either and anyone who says "Cali" immediately outs themselves as a non-California native.

I'm always amused at the annoyance over Cali... I mean it gets serious sometimes!... Yet...entertaining! Lol! (from someone who's a native)

As someone who actually lives in SM... I can honestly say I've never heard it referred to as
SaMo...

I agree, never once have I heard a native say "Cali" and I know it's stupid, but it really annoys me, LOL, I don't know why, but I cringe when out of staters say it. LOL.

I'm a native and have never seen "Cali" except on forums. I mean, most places Cali is the city in Colombia where all the cocaine comes from.

Maybe we Californians prefer to not be connected to a major drug center in South America.

It's like all the New Yorkers complaining that this or that isn't as good in California as it is back home. (If you feel that way they have flights, trains and buses leaving every day, NY bound.)
