How long would it be to get to Universal City by around 10:30AM, coming from say Agoura Hills or Calabassas?
Is this a do-able commute or is it a nightmare?

Also - is the site lalife.com accurate in terms of schools/safety ratings?

UC from Agoura Hills is about an hour. If traffic is being nice. At least you have the street (Ventura Blvd) option.

Hmm - wonder why Google Maps says 30-something minutes.

An hour? Ouch.

At 10:30am the traffic is clearing up, so it shouldn't be bad or too bad. Comming from Calabasas with no traffic would be a 25 minute commute and from Augora Hills probably a 35-40 minute commute. Whatever you do, do not take Ventura Blvd. Stop lights after stop lights and it crosses through 5 different communitites. By 11am there really isnt any traffic anywhere in the Los Angeles area, even the 405.

i live in studio city

traffic isnt too bad after 9am on the 101 (either direction)

you have to cross the 405 interchange which can be a nightmare.........and its very unpredictable

on a good day...........cruising at 70mph.........it should take you about 30 minutes

with traffic? an hour is being kind.........1:15 to be conservative
