Then I probably just had a bad experience. I've only taken it to the airport and back twice, and the last time on the way back was when a few guys in their late 20's were harassing some teenage girl and making her super uncomfortable. She kept moving around the platform but they followed her. Nothing obscene, just kept asking her for her number, telling her she looked good, but it was pretty clear she didn't want anything to do with them. The train came a few minutes after she got there.

I haven't taken it since (probably a couple of years), but mostly because of how much longer the train takes than the FlyAway, not any safety concerns. If the OP is female, is arriving late at night, or feels uncomfortable in sketch neighborhoods, it might factor in to the decision.

It's true is the Flyaway is much quicker and more comfortable. However, it's $9. Era us the $1.75 Metro Fare. LA Metro is the best value anywhere I've traveled.

Okay so my plan is to leave DTLA on the blue line for 1.75$ and transfer for free to the green line to LAX/A station. Then i take the G shuttle for free by showing my tap card.

I much rather do this than pay 9$ for the FlyAway bus. And no i'm not female. I'm flying during the day. I dont care which one is faster.

How is it someone can fly to LA but can't pay $9 for the FlyAway? Do you realize the value you are getting? Can you really afford to visit LA in the first place?
