I'm asking this for some people that I know who absolutely do NOT want to live in areas with homeless.

For LA and Orange County....

Does one have to live in Irvine, Thousand Oaks, etc or are there some other areas?

What cities pick up and arrest the homeless, bringing them to shelters to help them?

I know that Thousand Oaks, is the safest city for women. Do they pick up the homeless?

Porter Ranch none. Sylmar for a low house price area has very few.

Thousand Oaks is in Ventura County. For LA County I say San Marino. It is a bedroom community bordering Pasadena; in fact you wouldn't know you aren't in Pasadena unless you pay attention to city limit signs while driving through neighborhoods. The city has a tiny population, is majority Chinese, and high income. There are no apartments or condos, only single-family homes, and no fast food restaurants.

Well let them do their own research.

I don't even think this is a real post, just let's bash CA post right?

First clue, I doubt people would retire from AZ to CA, so these "people" would be of working age.

Like other places in the country, in Southern CA you base where you will live on where you will be working.

You work in Burbank and move to Irvine, the homeless issue won't be on your radar, one would be too busy tearing their hair out of their head due to the commute to even care.

Fake post. Next time try to make at look at least a little realistic.

beverly hills basically doesn't tolerate them. i'm not saying you'll never see one, but the rich people there are greedy and mean. the rich people of santa monica and venice at least welcome the homeless with open arms.

Good question. Even Pacific Palisades has become infested with homeless, at least around the business areas and PCH. I'd say look for a gated community.

I too can vouch for those two areas. In fact, Tim Conway Jr. speaks very highly of how well the police encourage riff-raff to get out of Burbank because they're not welcome there. Sounds like my kind of place.
