Up to an hour to get through the Culver City traffic sink hole just to cross LA Cienega and I'm home in ten minutes

Marina Del Rey to Westwood....19-ish minutes, so far. A little longer, since I stop for coffee. Easiest commute I've ever had.

The number of times ACH is closed during the year is extremely low. Over the nearly 20 years I have been driving AFH/ACH between Lancaster and Pasadena (Excluding the multiple months it was closed after the station fire) I can only remember perhaps 8-10 MAYBE 12 times it was closed due to winter weather.

As long as everyone behaves up there (slow cars use the turn outs and fast cars don't smash their car into the side of the mountain) it is exactly 1 hour to 1 hour 5 minutes both going from Lancaster to Pasadena as well as returning to Lancaster from Pasadena.

Midtown Santa Monica to downtown Santa Monica. 15 min walk. I only have to use my car on weekends. Not having to drive on LA freeways twice a day makes a HUGE difference.
