Bernie was a good guy. He seemed honest even if a bit idealist for changing the country, but he had a clean record and was a true blue progressive. Hillary was not. She was the epitome of establishment politics.

Dems shot themselves in the foot.
THIS!! Sanders had a movement and the millennial vote in his back pocket, Soros and the DNC got what they deserved.

I just am becoming very unsympathetic being subject to the looting and violence...

Protesting Mexican families being separated is not a reason to trash a mexican eatery and this is what I find insane.

Perhaps the best and most effective protest movement in history was exemplified by Gandhi... and he led by example various alternatives to violence.

Talk is cheap, and did everyone in San Francisco agree to this? I don't think so.
It sure seems elected officials and religious leaders in the county and city of San Francisco are in unison with the position the mayor voiced.

If so... they certainly have my respect following the courage of their conviction...

That said... so much of what is said to today makes for great sound bites and little else.

I keep waiting for those that said they are leaving to get packing... who says things like this unless they mean it or simply trying to stir up trouble?

Almost sounds like he loses either way?

If he keeps promises he will be villified.

If he reneges he will be villified.

Or he is a rare person in public office where public opinion holds little sway?

I still think it would be a great gesture if Trump were to offer Bernie a position... many times Trump publically stated they had areas of common ground...

I hope the violence and looting stop... it's getting to me almost predictable now... at least for some California cities.
