I have a hunch my house is settling a little bit from the recent storms, like maybe the ground that's been so dry for 5 years is now saturated. The usual assortment of small cracks in the plaster seem to have doubled.

Must be some major rock slides in the San Gabriels. Tried to drive over the mountain for work, as normal, and it is still closed to all traffic. Figured it would be cleared of rocks by now, so something else is going on.
