I am headed overseas for 3 weeks and looking to see if I can find parking for under $100 anywhere near LAX. Street parking is fine too. Looked at long term parking and the cheapest was $180.

Do you live in LA county? If so, a Uber ride there/back would be considerably cheaper than $180.

can't do the Uber ride here is why I just bought a new car so now I have 2 cars. However, I have only a 1 car garage and park my older car on the street which is fine because near my home I have plenty of street parking. However, Wed and Thurs is street cleaning so I usually move the car or drive it to work on those days. But in a few months I am going on vacation for 3 weeks so parking on the street is not going to work

I found this site:
http://www.bestparking.com/long-beac...nthly-parking/

I was wondering if these are monthly rates or daily rates if taken for a month. The later does not make sense as at $50/day some of the cheapest rates would be $1500/month so I am guess these are monthly rates (although it does say monthly 24hr rate which is confusing!!!). If these are indeed monthly rates then I can park here and take the Flyway bus, that *may* work!

unfortunately no family nearby that has excess parking available and I have no close friends in the area unfortunately. I have a monthly parking permit at work which is very close to me so going to see if I can park there but they are parking Nazis there who have a host of ridiculous rules, I will ask if I can park there for 3 weeks but 50/50 chance they will say that is not permitted, so would like to have a Plan B.

You can find parking for a month but it will definitely be more than just $100.

If you can afford an oversea trip, you can afford the extra $80.

I like to save money where I can. $80 is money I can spend elsewhere if I can avoid it.

If you wanna chance it, there is that homeless neighborhood just north of the airport. Definitely drive your older car and dont leave anything in it.
