Gee, never heard of that brand.
Do you buy it at city hall, or the county supervisor's offices?

Oh, I forgot, neither of them would have it, they don't have the faintest idea what reality is.

Never have, and never will.

Bob.

[quote=NativeOrange;47406334]Did you just say south OC has more conducive infrastructure to higher density than LA? That's a first.[/QUOTE

the I-5 south of Irvine is 12 to 14 lanes and can accommodate towers from Laguna Hills to Laguna Niguel, which are under construction.

LA refuses to widen its freeways.

Clearly you've made up your mind on a number of things. No amount of facts or basic principles of how things work will persuade you! But at least have the dignity to back down if you aren't going to refute the facts presented to you with anything other than "you must be a developer". Also, saying that basic Econ doesn't make sense to you (which you have multiple times now) doesn't mean that it's some crazy fantasy.

There is a Measure C in Redondo Beach. Like Measure S, Yes means No. I don't know the details , signs say, "Don't Let Redondo Beach become the next Santa Monica". I don't know the logic of that sign, but if I had property in Redondo Beach, I'd like it to become as expensive as Santa Monica.

I could see them not wanting the traffic issues of Santa Monica. Home values in Redondo are already pretty high seems like starting at $900k for typical 3 bedroom homes , Santa Monica is still more of course .

We are an auto dependent society. LA needs to follow OC and Riverside county if it wants to cut gridlock. That said, I do not favor building condo towers anywhere. I prefer one story downtowns like San Clemente and Carlsbad down here.

Well L.A. just isnt the type of city for that.
And about auto dependce. Cars were once a symbol of freedome, now many of us are just soaves to our cars.
