Let's be honest it's not immigrant rights it's illegal alien rights that Garcetti is championing.

What about gang members and illegals that are killing our citizens?

What about compassion and justice for those victims that have been killed by people that should of never been in this city or country ?

This is the typical liberal strategy of playing to emotions and feelings and ignoring the reality.
---

“The Cities Day of Immigration Action is about standing together on a commitment to compassion, equality, and justice,” Garcetti said. “We’re taking action for the family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers whose lives we share, who contribute so much to our economy and communities, and are the social, cultural, and economic fabric of our cities.”

The illegals themselves supposedly don't vote for Democrats but they all have hordes of friends and relatives that do. Democrats know this and continually pander to the immigrant community to promote their vote for them.
As they talk and associate with each other they all are in with the Democrats. They have to be to in with their peers.

One thing I learned from republicans is, even if a vote screws over your country. As long as your side wins, who cares how this effects our children.

Granted, there is a problem with illegals committing criminal acts. For most things illegals are just a scapegoat for everything going wrong.

Sure, trump can fix this issue, but at the cost of everything else including your children's future.

Democrats maybe misguided alot, but republicans just seem hell bent on always winning, no matter how bad the consequences are.

Hence trumps attack on major cities with his new budget.

"Attack on major cities"?

Sounds a bit drastic .

Both republicans and democrats support the open borders policy. The purpose of this policy is to provide domestic businesses with cheap labor, period. It has nothing to do with compassion, in fact it is highly disadvantageous to American workers, regardless of skin color.

Naturally criminal organizations will take advantage of an open border policy, why wouldn't they? Of course if you are a powerful legislator you live in a gated community with private schools you dont have to deal with the consequences, so its our problem not theirs..

The title of this story should be changed from:

To:

The point made by the OP was that the article didn't include "illegal"

You are all misreading Trump. He will eventually provide an amnesty of sorts but ONLY after securing the border and dealing with related issues.

Just how are you coming to this conclusion based on his statements?? Or is this just something you're hoping for?

Evidence: I predicted that DACA would remain and it has. No one else was spot on.

If you listen to his rhetoric, it is obvious he plans to amnesty -- something that will **** off a lot of people but reassure many others. We need to get the border under control. Meanwhile, we need to deal with overstays and revamp how we deal with visitors. Then -- THEN -- the "amnesty" will come for non criminals. Believe it.
