El Coyote has a serious one. Haven't found a better one. Anyone got any ideas?

This is a tough one.

My are my top picks:

1. La Estrella Restaurant (Pasadena) (best wet burrito I've had)
2. Tacos Tumbras a Tomas (Grand Central Market in downtown)
3. Las Fuentes (Reseda)

And if you like breakfast burritos, Lucky Boy in Pasadena has a killer one.

However, based on some top LA burrito lists I've seen, it looks like Al & Bea's and La Azteca Tortilleria in East LA pop up a lot.

I think Southern California has some of the best Mexican food, in the world. Having lived there for 20 years, I've eaten some great Mexican meals.

Two places dear to my heart would be: Manuel's El Tepeyac and Pepe's Temple City.

The Original Pepe's – Mexican Food

El Tepeyac Restaurant | Authentic Mexican Food | Boyle Heights | Los Angeles

I know there are plenty more great places around!

El Tepeyac is my go-to burrito spot. Order the Hollenbeck if you feel adventurous.

Al & Bea’s. A very good LA style burrito. Good meat stew, cheese, and that’s it. Simple and pure. None of that “stick everything in a tortilla” style that norCal does. Once you add rice, it’s just wrong.

How are the burritos at Tito's Taco's? Is it true that the only thing better than a Tito's burrito is two?

one of the best burritos i've had in LA are at sonoratown, which is a year-old eatery in downtown that specializes in sonoran-style mexican cuisine. they use high quality, locally sourced ingredients and pay attention to the little details that make a big difference, such as expertly grilling the tortillas to impart a really great texture to the burritos and tacos.

i've also had terrific burritos at burritos la palma, which has locations in el monte and santa ana. these are the first local branches of a well-respected chain from mexico.

for an old-school burrito joint, i second the recommendations of la azteca tortilleria and al & bea's.

I just finished off the Epic scrambler Carne Asada breakfast burrito from Del Taco.
It's a lot of food for a great price !
