I am interested in finding out how much a single home residence in Long Beach, CA pays per month for trash pickup. Any info is appreciated.

I can't imagine it's much. My understanding is that gas, water/sewer adn trash are all on one consolidated bill from the city.

LADWP charges a lot just for a couple of trash bins.

$36.32/month for single family dwellings and duplexes
$24.33/month for multi-family dwellings (three or more units) - each apartment.

I don't know which agency serves Long Beach.
I heard it's impossible to get a garbage truck driver job in LA. The pay is very good.

We live in a condo. Our water and trash bills are built into the HOA payment, but we get a separate bill from the gas company.

I say they deserve it.

If you live in a condo, it's not surprising that the condo is billed for some of the services.

This is a sample Long Beach bill for someone who does not have an HOA.

Wow, I don't know if that example bill is accurate, but it says $75 for 32 days of service. There's a "Refuse Rollout Fee that's $30, so maybe that's a one time charge or something. Still $45/mo is 25% more than city of LA.
