Clearly we are not talking about the same thing. Say two people came to the US illegally. One is a man and one is a woman. The laws state that if people are here illegally, they have to be deported. The law does not leave it up to ICE to decide if the woman can stay or vice versa.

This has nothing to with triple murderer, or shoplifter, or jaywalking, or armed robberies.

yep, I saw that and as much as some folks hate to hear this, if we were really serious about eliminating street gangs like MS-13, Bulldogs, Surenos, Nortenos, La eMe, Nuestro Familia we would find some alternative to state prisons for young non-violent offenders who are forced to get in a car (join a gang) the same day that they land in prison.

Butbutbutbutbut...if we deport them, they will magically disappear! (and not continue to multiply in their home country and then inevitably cross back over to the land of (far more) opportunity)

This is one of many good reasons why we need strong borders and why sanctuary city policies are bad.
MS-13 is a very violent gang.

Early morning raids end in arrests of nearly two dozen MS-13 gang suspects - LA Times

As noted in the story, "the pre-dawn sweep came as a result of a more than two-year racketeering investigation."

"MS-13 was the first street gang to be designated a transnational criminal organization. That designation, which came in 2012, gave the U.S. Treasury Department the power to freeze any financial assets from the gang or its members and to prohibit financing institutions from engaging in any transactions with members of the group."

"The LAPD chief said seven joint task force operations by law enforcement in L.A County since 2007 have weakened the gang’s grip in the city, sending about 200 of its members to prison.."

Good work by law enforcement. This pre-dates the buffoon in the white house.

After that, hopefully there will be a similar roll up of the Red Mafiya.

Is that seriously still a thing? Or are you referring to the Drumpf-feeding Putin trolls? In which case, yes.

Alright boys, shut it down! We need to stop all efforts because of this one thing.

No, we just need to devote what resources we have to the most high-impact activity. Deporting MS13 - high-impact. Sending 81-year-old grandmas back to Juarez - not so much. Unless they are MS13 grandmas, in which case, well, you know.

But you sarcastically implied that sending back ms13 gangsters would not solve anything as they would multiply and come back. And now 81 year old grandma's may multiply and come back.
