Every Angeleno, especially those born and raised here don't even think about the "surfer boy beach blond" thing, the vibe of the city has shifted far away from that in the last uh... 40 years? Lol
Only people from the east coast who get their information about LA from movies would make such a random statement...
Yeah I'm thinking the same thing too. L.A really isn't laid back too. People drive pretty aggressively ,etc.

True. LA is a busy place, people tend to always be in a hurry, the overall vibe certainly doesn't revolve around the beach and job market is very competitive and demands skills if you want to survive, hardly what I'd call "laid back", more like "busy, crowded and vibrant".

His post about the beach blond etc just rang my "ummm that's suspicious" bell lol

LA has several museums that are free on different days of the month, some are always free.

Plenty of nice parks here as well.

I could just show you my birth certificate and every picture I've been in for 17 years. Anyway I said the beach blonde thing because people think La still has its character and now it's just some rotten cesspool with an over abundance of Starbucks and McDonald's.
