32 pages average. This means less advertising revenue.
No one reads the Times anymore, when you tell half the people who might buy your paper ********* with their constant bashing of Trump and Republicans throughout the paper.
I read it but I would never give these America haters one penny, I fish it out of the blue bin. And out of my whole neighborhood only 2 houses get the Times, one more gets the Sunday only.
The whole paper, every article has a bias and snarky remarks against Trump and Republicans.
Like all Democrats they are for EVERY tax increase or fee or cost that go's to the government.
They are professional writers, any story that they are forced to report that favorable to Trump or Republicans they are able to twist and spin into unfavorable.
If it's not a big story that favorable to Trump or Republicans that they figure they will get away with it you won't read about it in the Times.
I go to Oregon at Christmas and the Oregonian was just as bad as the times in their bias, now their down to like a throwaway free paper.

Maybe you could add this post to another one of your threads on the same topic.

Yes, even the most partisan person has to admit the LA Times is severely against Trump and any Republican. It's as biased as Pravda. But at least the LA Times is a regional paper. LA voted 75-80% against Trump... so why would a paper based in LA be pro-Trump?
The LA Times reflects its demographics.
I still pay for the LA Times because I like their local coverage. None of the free sites like LAist or La Weekly get as thorough. But the national and international coverage, all bias aside, is pathetically thin.

I read my news online. My wife reads the OC register online for free. We dumped the subscription.

I'm no Leftist but just like any business the LAT (which we used to jokingly call either "The Grimes" or "The Slimes") has to market themselves to their realistic viable marketplace.

The Right are outnumbered in the large coastal urban areas. This is nothing new. If you are not planning to move to The State Of Jefferson or exit CA entirely, you should essentially put up or shut up.

It's kind of a shame. Political bias aside, the establishment does have some good non-political pieces that are based on fact and research vs. pure agenda.

Same thing has happened to the OC Register. Read that paper for most my adult life, and it saddens me to see just how small it has become. I know it is happening to newspapers all over because of the internet, but I'm one of those old fashion people who enjoys having a real newspaper in my hands instead a tablet.....
