As a city and county, we’ve moved away from freeways,” said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, a Metro board member. “Voters don’t see freeways as meeting their transportation needs anymore.”
I wish several million of you out there realized that and would stay off the freeways so I could make some time and wind out the old Hemi every now and then instead of creeping in the traffic.

FYI, Bonin's office now is using a survey company to ask the public's thoughts on the Venice Boulevard changes.

Yeah, really. A few sample questions:

Do you support bikes lanes or do you want bicyclists to die?

Do you support road lane reductions or do you support destroying the planet with your car?

Do you support leaving your car at home or are you literally Adolf Hitler?

It's so obvious that the politicians are selling this thing based a lies. The whole "it's to reduce deaths" thing is a huge scam. It's all about this global warming insanity. Mike Bonin, Jerry Brown and the rest of them have an Orwellian dream of getting people to walk, ride bicycles and buses. But LA is not New York! LA is too spread out.
And the rhetoric about "If you're against turning car lanes into bike lanes then you're part of the alt-right"... What a fraud these politicians are! Do people actually fall for these talking points?

Only one of those topics was in the set of 4 questions. I think 3 of 4 were relevant, reasonable questions and all 3 had enough options, including an "Unsure."
