LOL....Just like some people complaining about the shortage of housing, then when a massive project like Newhall Ranch get's the green light then people are gonna start complaining on the negative impacts, etc, etc

You really can't please everybody no matter what

What is worse, is the repairs to the asphalt once the pipes have been repaired.
The usual is the new asphalt is at least 3" higher than the existing road surface, and in some cases making it into a speed bump.
Surely these people know absolutely nothing about road resurfacing.

Bob.
That's bad planning. They should always do underground work before you do road work.

People usually complain before and during construction. All of the complaints stop when the project is done.

As the population increases, due to developers and their corrupt city government enablers such as Eric Crookcetti (A $72-million apartment project. Top politicians. Unlikely donors. Who wrote the checks to elected officials weighing approval? - Los Angeles Times) the streets will require more frequent repair. A benevolent city government would consider this extra hardship on city residents, amid others, and not allow development to get this far out of control. Crumbling streets, traffic gridlock, bursting water pipes, high cost of living which promotes urban sprawl -- all these things have been disregarded by our city government which is not looking out for our best interests. And it will only get worse, but don't complain, lest you may be called a mean name if you dare ask questions such as, "How is immigration good for us?"

They snuck a nasty 65 cent per gallon gas tax on us. I think this is their way us making us forget that 30 percent of the new revenue is being stolen for non-road projects like the high speed rail boondoggle.
