They voted on this and it passed unanimously.

Funny how they are so quick to take action on stuff like this but drag their feet for years and years on other issues .

I guess they must feel real proud of themselves

I 100% support the legalization of Dreamers. I have tons of friends, who benefited from this program, it helped them get better paying jobs and finish school.

However, I also 100% support that is the Congress who needs to pass laws, not the President.
As much as well-intended Obama was with DACA, it was not the right way to go.

Hopefully this time, Congress actually does is job, and do something about all this kids.

Lord, you are so right, but I would extend it to all of California. They let the violent criminals out of jail, they allow the homeless to squat wherever they want, they don't fix ANYTHING, yet they spend billions on a train to nowhere. If you're not an illegal alien in Los Angeles, you get NOTHING from government. It's really all they talk about, how to help the illegals. It gets to a point where you just have to be able to laugh at it all so you don't go crazy. Fortunately, if you are established here and have enough money to live in a nice area, you can pretty much avoid most of it if you never turn on the news.

Why does anyone in local govt need to travel out of state? Are they trying to ban them from traveling on their own time for vacations?

Until you pay car registration, buy gas, receive your property tax bill with all the Mello Roos, pay your water bill and .......................... well the list just gets longer.

Now that is to some extent a State issue, not a County one, but the County does not handle those issues it is involved in, any better.

Because it's taxpayers money and no doubt a good percentage of the travels for business could be handeled through electronic means. These politicians love spending other people's money. They certainly can't legally prevent any government employee from traveling to those state on their own time.

Roughly 1/3 of Californians support Calexit. It won't get enough votes for it to happen.
