You know how it is - if even one rotten apple is allowed to remain in the barrel, the entire crop will be spoiled.

Place is crazy.

These people are nuts ... one of the comments on the Defend Boyle Heights facebook page..

Scary thing is...it's not just one of them like this. This is their mentality.

"So the rent that these Lords demand from us today, since the land that they own is literally stolen, is like the gold that these murderers demanded from our ancestors.

And police and ice who criminalize today are like the settlers who came with Columbus who were given the order to chop off the hands of any indigenous person who did not bring them enough gold."

I noticed that the Ruckus Society has disappeared from Liberty Hill's page of Groups We Support. A few other more controversial groups have also disappeared Maybe someone got way too embarrassed?

Garcetti did claim that Trump's immigration policies if enforced would lead to riots in Los Angeles, maybe he meant started by a group funded by the group he and his wife were involved in?
I looked up Liberty Hill and visited each site/org they support.

This is the bulk of what I saw:
  • Communists (housing is a "human right")
  • Race baiters
  • Anti-cop activists/blm
  • Anti-jail activists (who remarkably had no concern for crimes being committed)
  • Illegals
  • Tenant rights
  • Section 8 "discrimination" and rights
  • Homeless advocates

One of the L.A police commissioners is President and Chief Executive Officer of
the Liberty Hill Foundation! (see link below)..

No wonder things are so screwed up at LAPD. How soon before they stop arresting anyone for anything altogether..

Goldsmith, Shane Murphy - Los Angeles Police Department

Does that apply to the rent that Elizabeth Blaney demands from her tenants?

I'm glad someone else besides myself has noticed.

Like I said, Garcetti would get hammered with this stuff in a competitive election. Him and his wife, both, considering she's even more involved.

Interesting article from today that mentions
Blaney

She sounds nuts to defend the behavior of Defend Boyle Heights .

----

Blaney played down the role of white activists. “It’s racist to imply that Latino members of the community can’t think for themselves and are brainwashed by a group of white people. It’s ludicrous and insulting to all they’re doing.” She said all those targeted by Defend Boyle Heights were gentrifiers or enablers.

Are white hipsters hijacking an anti-gentrification fight in Los Angeles?

Blaney is behind Defend Boyle Heights. Of course she's nuts, and really full of crap. She is a zealot.

Shouldn't Defend Boyle Heights be considered a hate group since they are blatant about being anti white ?

No government agency investigating them ?
