Stupid? They won their case!

In Brazil, when they merely raised the bus fare, protesters all but brought the country down in wide scale protests, and? They won their case!

In Bolivia, they're noted for rolling boulders onto roads throughout the country, along with rolled over cars! And they always seem to win their cases!

France is notorious for protests, and they take it all with a grain of salt. Some productivity lost, so what!!

And then we wonder, in the U.S., why we don't have universal health care, for one! Widespread protests would bring it about very quickly!

So who are the stupid ones?????

Those protesting as they show no real concern for those they are making life difficult for. Oh, the US is not Argentina, Bolivia or Brazil, do you want it to become like them?

Universal healthcare is not occurring because the costs (Taxes) would be through the roof and by the time all the politicians got on board and all the court cases were settled, you would be 110 years old and getting no real care if still alive because the money goes to the younger as they figure it is a waste to spend it on those close to death in any event.

We already are like Argentina but with uglier people, worse food, and a lower level of education.

Not in any way! Argentina has defaulted on their national debt 8X, and we haven't defaulted once!

I was amazed at their extra-long siesta's, stores closed, except restaurants/bars, for 4 hours in the afternoon!

Give it time. The governing philosophy of California is much like the governing philosophy of Argentina until very recently.
