Garcetti getting a lot of press these days regarding his aspirations to be President

Hmm wonder what Trump's nickname will be for him .

--
TOWARDS the end of an amusing few hours with Eric Garcetti, the mayor of Los Angeles, Lexington asked an abrupt question. Many Angelenos—in fact, every Angeleno he had consulted—appeared to view Mr Garcetti’s recent hints that he was mulling a run for president in 2020 with astonishment, hilarity even. Were they right to be surprised? The 46-year-old Democrat, who has found occasion to visit Florida, Louisiana and New Hampshire in recent months, paused a moment. “Probably,” he said, “I mean I would probably have been, if a mayor had said that.”

Has he done anything to merit this line of thinking? And while we're at it... Gavin Newsom *shaking head* There seems to be a rising class of these guys who think they just wait there turn and get things handed to them. Sorry, didn't mean to wade into a political discussion, but these two just need to sit down.

Whoever thinks that Garcetti is presidential material must be either really high or must be working for Trump. The idea is insane.

"A record of bipartisanship"? L.A. is a one party city. Although I will admit Garcetti in 2013 did a good job of pretending to be a moderate.

How would Garcetti play in swing states in the Midwest? Horribly.

His slogan can be “a mentally ill homeless drug addict on every block”.

Seriously all his competition has to do is video record skid row and run hit ads 24/7.

I was actually thinking more of crack, meth, bath salts, or flakka. Maybe ketamine
