That's what I'm saying. We tend to trade our freedoms for more security. Such as the patriot act..

I'm willing to have cameras everywhere and go headhunting if that's what it takes to make these burglars think twice.

Some of them made over $500,000 doing burglaries, and they brag about it online. That means it's not dangerous enough for them. They're gonna have to earn their money from now on.

A society that trades freedom for security deserves neither.. Something like that..

Oh wells. As long as that burglar is dead and my family is safe.

No point in having freedoms if a criminal kills and rapes your family. You already lost everything.

Btw, these License Plate Readers caught more burglars last night.

The cameras might actually be saving lives. Since residents might have shot them instead.

License plate readers have been a very effective tool in apprehending law breakers in my city for nearly a decade. I don't see how or why Los Angeles doesn't have them

We are also a gun friendly city, so burglars aren't consistently getting their heads blown off here

Cities with LPR's have seen a drop in property crimes. When you catch the bad guys and put them away, it's always a good thing.
