Entrepreneurship is about creating more wealth based on providing a market product that has a market demand. "Free housing" is not a market product because while it does have a market demand, it has no market producers. Companies are not in the business of providing free housing.

Even at $25,000 a pop and socializing the costs, you're asking for the citizens of LA County to cough up $1.5 BILLION upfront costs to house 58,000 homeless in the county.

So I ask again, how do they pay for it? The only way that seems feasible is crushing taxes.
Costs do not matter to regressives. Only feelings matter.

Exclusively their own- certainly and obviously not the feelings of their victims

Feelings are great. I feel for people who are sleeping on the sidewalks, addicted to drugs, and peeing themselves in their soiled pants.

But I also understand the concept of scarcity. Asking people in LA County to subsidize $1.5 billion (low end estimate) to house all homeless in LA is lunacy.

The homeless do NOT require market condos. Just because some avaricious boneheads propose things like that from time to time doesn’t mean choices are so limited. Simple, very small spaces, easily cleaned out and disinfected, with lock on the door, cot, bedstand, perhaps a table and chair ... shared sanitary facilites ... done.
Good suggestions.

Double luv it!!
Lots of hope for our families and communities
The federal government did not build Adelanto, it was originally a California State Prison, technically a "community correctional facility", in 2011 GEO Group a private prison contractor bought it and turned it into an ICE Detention facility. Geezus
