I have not been able to locate much of any information online.

Anyone have any information or memories that you would like to share?

It looks as if it became Platinum Live in the early 2000s and then closed in 2010.

Article from 1990:
Sasch, the popular Studio City nightclub, is changing owners, according to general manager Marlon Parry.

Parry said the sale entered escrow last month (1990and will become official in early December.

That post 2000 exterior does not look enticing at all. Uninspiring. Bland. Soulless.

I remember this place. Back when LA was booming with up and coming bands. Sasch, FM Station, Al's Bar, Whisky, Madame Wongs, etc.

Last time I was at this location was on December 31st 1999 celebrating New Years 2000!! It was privately owned I think back then. Well after the Sasch days.

I wonder if any live performances from those up and coming bands were captured on video?

I used to play week-long engagements with my top 40 band Blowout at Sasch in the early '80's. Eddy Estrada Lead vox and guitar, Matt McGuire Keys, Max McGuire Bass, Me Jana (Sorensen) McGuire Lead Vox. Loved those striped unitards the waitresses wore!

I am afraid the entire building has been torn down.
