They were always expensive but now it’s gotten a bit ridiculous.

Definitely seems they build them with planned obsolescence in mind.
I have my daughter's old one and I do text, plus I can, for some reason get the stock market but nothing else except to talk and take pictures.

Amazon knows that most people in the areas they open up in have a high usage of smartphones...This company does their homework before they set up shop anywhere...Just like their New Amazon HQ2 location wherever that will be

I really don’t think that’s a big problem. More like a minor detail. They can implement a Costco-type card if need be. There’s a whole bunch of simple solutions for growth.

I know right. Considering the obesity problem in this country people need to get out more and move.

Was in Ireland and Scotland in October, a really obese person is a rare sight. In fact you see very few heavy people. Same thing with France and other countries.

CVS and Vons now has curb side pickup, unless you're elderly or disabled get your rear end into the store.

On demand delivery is a huge business now too . Food delivery , grocery delivery , etc

Definitely easy to get by without walking much these days .

i'm gonna say it...here goes...i miss blockbuster. even other video stores. i remember going to rent a movie back in the 80s. it was part of the whole movie watching at home experience.

i miss saying "let's go to blockbuster and get a movie or two" and then going out with my son and walking around together, looking at all the different movies, what's new? what's older but we haven't seen yet? what movie do we want but is all checked out and we'll have to wait until next weekend? picking out a movie or two, checking them out and then having a few days to watch them before we needed to take them back. more time together, more decision making together. i miss it.

now, movies and shows, video's, it's all right there, everywhere, even on our phones if we want. i miss the old days of video stores. yeah, everything is more convenient now...but...
