What's the area around S San Pedro St / W Florence Ave like?
Is it good/fair/bad/do not enter?
What would be the typical profile of someone living in that area?

Thanks

I can’t imagine this is anything but a troll posting.

Go drive there during a weekday and you’ll have your answer.

preferably around 10pm. I don't think there is any neighborhood in LA that is so bad you can't enter during the day. I used to play in an adult baseball league that played games at one of the Dodgers Dream fields in south central and I never felt unsafe at 11 am on a saturday

OP here. I'm from Calgary, only been to LA twice, and I have absolutely no idea what to expect in that area.
The cryptic snark posts are not helpful.

I'm not moving to LA any time soon, but I'll be meeting an acquaintance in this area next time I'm in town.
Something in the replies tells me it's probably not a good idea? I don't know what to expect.

I'm the "You'll be fine" poster. It's not a super desirable area. No one really sets out to go there. With that said, it's not the 90s anymore and Boyz In the Hood was a long time ago. Chances are, if you mind your business and have large city smarts, no one will hassle you.

Not sure what else you are looking for..
