I feel like I am always shopping around for car insurance, trying to find something better. What a headache.
Found this article the other day that helped, thought that I would pass it along:

Wait till next year. i have found that AAA is pretty expensive. Plus they do mileage verification every year.

I had Mercury Insurance since the second year I had a car in 1973 until I retired and moved out of state in 2017. Used Peninsula General in Torrance for my agent, (they spun off from Auto Insurance Specialists who advertised heavily on the radio). Every few years I got a quote from somebody else and nobody ever come close to what Mercury charges me. Over those years I've had three accidents and they stood behind me every time.

I'd still be with them if they wrote in Idaho. Instead I"m with USAA now. (When I lived in SoCal, USAA was more expensive than Mercury.) I've always had a clean record other than the first few years I drove, (young 20s testosterone.)
