The funny thing is, when there is one of those massive anti Trump marches to protect illegals and so forth, latino's call on blacks, along with the lgbt community to be part of this so called "united front", and then gullible black people fall for it thinking they have got a new friend. The same way white females used black women during the feminist movement.

I lived near the westlake area for a short while, I was definately given the feeling of being unwelcome. That was lonnnng year.

What do you think it means. We need to start executing more prisoners like China.

When law abiding Californians are armed legally with CCW, why would we be afraid of gangs? Tell me.

Gangs will be a forgotten era then. You want to legally carry? Then don't break the law son.

You want to rob granny? You better not because she might be legally carrying. And Granny won't go to prison when the gang robber gets SHOT by granny. Can't wait for that day

OMFG yes. This is true AF. I would add that in general, co-victimology is stupid and it is also fake AF. And to add to that: It is EXPECTED that blacks, gays, etc. all join the cause de jure. Well, that's the victimology party for you.

It is as dumb as gays in London calling on Moslems to support them because -- and this is real, yes people are this stupid -- one "oppressed" group should help another. When will people wake up?

Latinos have real reason to march against Trump.

Trump's parents immigrated to America. Latinos with native blood been in America for thousands of years. I'll be honest tho. I'd rather learn Navajo than Spanish. That's a true native language.

What's going on with Latino on Black violence is pretty shameful. But law abiding citizens who conceal carry legally can stop that real quick.

Just give conceal carry permits to law abiding citizens.

Look at Houston. More diverse than LA.

Everyone is armed and conceal carrying legally. Everyone gets along. Why can't we have that? This gang race war is stupid.

I want Houston in LA. It's time to move forward.

This. Investors, speculators and the like are buying properties up like it's no ones business in Lincoln Hts, Cypress, all along Figueroa as well. It will take some time but it will happen.

Trump's dad was born in the bronx. Trumps mother was a legal "economic migrant" who became a US citizen.

As far as Latino's with native blood for "thousands", if their ancestors have been in the Unted States for that long, then they should be plenty legal and have nothing to worry about.

Your sentences are great at giving half the story.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the city strengthen rent control even more .

The city plays both sides though . They really want the tax money that comes from big new developments .
But they have to act like they don’t want grandmas evicted to make room for that development .

Gentrification happens slowly in L.A due to rent control and the difficulty to redevelop property .

Based on the LA Times piece on Lincoln Heights this past week, gentrification is going on too fast for most people.

The city government needs to bring back CRASH. I'm not even certain why they were disbanded in the first place, though I believe it was bad publicity due to the Rampart scandal or something.
