L.A. native that left L.A. in 2008 and moved to Chicago. Fast forward 10 years, three pets and a husband later, husband recently accepted a job in Hollywood so we are moving in the next month or so (I'm staying back until our place sells).

I'm not sure how I feel about moving back "home" but my midwestern half is obviously more excited. Should be an interesting adjustment ahead.

This goes way back: left in 65 and moved to the bay area for 5 years: came back in 70 and left again in 76. Again came back in 78; finally left for good in 81 and never regretted it for 1 minute. There are things we miss, always will, like our beloved Dodgers and sometimes friends that are still there. The weather is the best part of living there, but can be boring. Now we are settled for the autumn of our lives.

Exactly! I fly in from Colorado, super easy. If you're within a two hour flight from LA, why not? Flights are cheap!
