I have to attend a business meeting in Los Angeles and I really don't like the traffic there. If I leave San Diego at 6 am would this be enough to avoid the rush hour? The meeting is at Wilshire Blvd. at 9:30 am

Thanks

No, it wouldn't. I'd drive up the night before and stay in a hotel for one night.

At 4 AM you could probably get to SD from LA in 1 hour and a half flat, but then what do you do for three hours. If you leave at 6AM, it could take at least 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Wilshire Blvd area from SD because you would get to OC/LA around 7 which is well into rush hour.

In the evening the best time to leave LA for SD is after 10 PM, again also 1 hour 1/2 flat coming back down with zero traffic.
