First date. We both like Thai and Chinese. She lives in North Hollywood. Even got the Poplar phone number! (Remember that? I used to live in VN with a State #.) She says they call it NoHo now... hm...

Need a good Thai (preferred) or Chinese (almost always a sure bet) restaurant, quiet place so we can talk. Comfortable seating, booths preferred. Price is no object. Good food is worth it.

Don't know if she drinks, I would like if they have wine.

Appreciate any suggestions, I can Yelp them.

Near 101 would be appreciated. I'm coming in from SCV.

BTW best Thai in Van Nuys is Fortune House at Saticoy and Balboa, Ralph's shopping center. They recently moved from Balboa and Saticoy. I used to live nearby.

Best Chinese in Reseda is The Great Wall on Sherman Way just east of Reseda Blvd, north side, parking in rear.

On Sunset Blvd in Silver Lakes I think, across the street from Jumbo's Clown Room is a Thai place called Shrimp Lovers. There is a plaza there with lots of Thai places. Its basically those buckets filled with seafood places.
