Al & Bea's in Boyle Heights is good too.

Miguel's Jr. in the IE/OC is my version of personal heaven. It's been commercialized/chained since they expanded from their first store in Corona, but the food has remained consistent and forever BOMB.

There's so much good stuff in So Cal that it's pretty hard to go wrong.

Haven't been to El Rancho Grande, but Cielito Lindo and La Golondrina on Olvera Street are really good.
