This isn't intended to be a political thread, but I'm just curious as to approximately how many people have flags on display in front of their home today in Los Angeles. On the Westside I see very few.

I live in a predominantly Mexican neighbourhood and there are way more American flags than Mexican flags, which I found odd. Turns out my hood has a lot of old veterans. I've even seen a couple younger Mexicans with American flag tattoos.

Not too many here in my area, even on Memorial Day. There are many many more flags out for Independance Day.

so sad. Not just in L.A., but in other states, people just don't put out the flag anymore. I think they're scared

I do not find it odd at all that there would be more American flags than any other. That is the way it should be. I know there are neighborhoods that do fly flags from other countries. This is fine, as long as they continue to fly the American flag.

I don’t notice the Mexican flag or other countries flags being flown even in heavily Hispanic areas.

I’ve seen some car dealers in heavily Hispanic areas that will flag various flags , Mexican , El Salvadoran etc to attract people but they usually have an American flag too .

So many Americans are so obsessed with flags. Makes me feel like I'm in a cult sometimes. There's nothing wrong with people waving the flag of their heritage and remembering where they're from. Never forget right?

I know I am way late in replying here but our community did have many OLD GLORY flags waving I am happy to say. We had ours up as well as our neighbors. We have VETS here and a Latino community who put Old Glory out as well. I recently found out through DNA testing that I am 61% Great Brit. Did I run out to buy a British Flag? Nope. I am an American.

I always thought we were Irish- lol Perhaps a tad.
