Last night I was listening to Brian Suits and I realized it was a rerun from five weeks ago! Why would they play a rerun? Budgeting?

Holiday weekend and not wanting to bring in a substitute crew.

I haven't listened to KFI at all since the 2016 election. I was a John and Ken listener for a very long time (think back to the OJ Simpson trial!), but I can't stomach any of it anymore. Too many people take right wing radio hosts' words as gospel and not just entertainment.

I can recall back when I agreed with most of the talk radio hosts, and I let them help form my opinions. Nowadays I rarely agree with any of them. They are generally very one-sided and omit crucial information to make a bogus point.

Try 1150 AM. Rush Limbaugh comes on 9am to noon. Sean Hannity follows immediately afterward till 3. On the rare days they take vacations, they always have good guest hosts. As a former Dem (#WalkAway) I never heard either of them nor watched Fox News before the 2016 election. I had been brainwashed by the media that they were Satan incarnate!

I wanted information, not propaganda. I was shocked at how much history and politics they knew, i.e. politicians who had promised one thing while doing the opposite for many years, how both Reps and Dems think and strategize, how the media thinks! Hannity strings together sound bites from mainstream media where they all say the same thing, the same way, even using the same buzzwords and catch phrases. Don't tell me that's a coincidence, that is central coordination with the Dems. Quite an education!

Mainstream media is censored and I don't like censorship!

Bill O'Reilly writes historical books that are best sellers. The Killing Series: Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing the SS, Killing England, Killing Jesus, Killing the Rising Sun, Killing Patton, Killing Reagan.

870 AM has replaced Medved with Sebastian Gorka (at noon weekdays). Medved said something about still having his show on the internet.

Does this have to do with Medved's health problems? He was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 but is battling it.

I would guess that just like sports other types of entertainment general managers need to know when to pull the old veteran for the younger up and coming talent. I would bet that Gorka moving up from substitute slots is a lot cheaper than Medved
