I'm looking at the weather forecast, and it looks fairly pleasant over the next five days.

So where's all this miserable weather people are prattling on about? Oooh, gotta go -- microwave just beeped so my hot cocoa is done.

Who's complaining? I'm guessing it's those in the valleys and IE. Where it's 20-30 warmer than your numbers.

I’m not believing you about 8-12 difference in coast vs IE. just the next 5 days the IE is mid 90s compared to low 70s in the zip posted by OP.

Someone from KANSAS telling us about OUR weather? What a troll.

Yeah but he sure knows his stuff. San Bernardino is only 8 degrees warmer than Santa Monica during the summer!

FYI Santa Monica average high in August is 70 and San Bernardino is 96. So he was close!

64 degrees here and overcast/foggy. Tomorrow's high (on the expected hot day) will be 74 and the warmest day forecast is 76, a ways out. Heat is not an issue here right now.

I guess that I am missing the insufferable heat in the forecast because it's not all that different from the one for my area, save that we are going to have a lot of rain coming in the same time period.

I would say that temperatures in the low to mid 70's are very comfortable for late spring.

Claim: There is only a 8-12 degree difference between the coast and the IE.

Reality: It is a much bigger difference, closer to 20 degrees +/-.

It's been very humid in Santa Monica these past few weeks.
