I'm looking for a restaurant or similar venue to have semi-private talks with a client. Somewhere where it isn't super noisy, but also not so quiet everything we say will be overheard. Ideally with isolated tables or booths that allow for some privacy, which seems scarce in LA.

Best locations would be Marina del Rey, Venice, or Santa Monica, although anywhere on the west side would work.

It doesn't have to be super high-end or anything, but I don't want to go to a dive bar either.

Suggestions?

Perhaps not as far west as you'd like but consider Musso and Frank Grill in Hollywood. An old fashioned, dark wood and red leather place.

Top 25 Power Lunch Spots

Went to AOC for dinner once and was seated upstairs. It was fairly private. Only the occasional server who came by. Downstairs is not private at all. How's the repatriation going?

Thanks for the tips. Most of those are in Hollywood/BH, but I see one or two on the west side.

Repatriation is going well, although much slower than I had anticipated.

Salt is a great option, in the Marina. They have two different patios and the seating is spacious.

It's likely gonna' take two years to feel settled, give or take.
