Pasadena Living! For a single male mid 40’s, what other areas are great to hangout in outside of Oldtown within 10 min

If you don't mind adding 15-20 minutes to your commute, I'd look into Glendale, which has fairly comparable rents to Pasadena. Plus, if you need to head over to Hollywood/WeHo for work, it will be a shorter drive compared to Pasadena.

Thank you very much. To be honest I haven’t looked into Glendale cause of the length on my drive & miles. I’m already pushing it close to 45-47 minutes living in Pasadena with normal traffic going to Highland in SB county. Majority freeway so my car will be fine. My main source of income will be over there so living an extra 15 min wouldn’t be the best for me. For my business I believe Pasadena & as long as I’m within 1/2 hr of La/weho/Hollywood I’ll be fine. I can visit Glendale to see the spots you & a couple other people have said. Thanks Again
